14 Match Ban

Scottish Cup erupts at East Stirling Buckie game

East Stirling player Ryan Frances took the biscuit when he got sent off in the 1-1 game with Buckie thistle. Dissent,Violent Conduct,Offensive ,insulting and abusive language and aggressive behavior towards a match official were what he got found guilty of at the disciplinary panel. What led to this ? He was unhappy about giving away a penalty.David Crane also received a red card for shire through the incident, the penalty was saved.
Frances  got an automatic 2 game ban then a further 12 match ban so 14 games banned what a waste. East Stirling went on to draw 1-1 then won the replay 4-2 after extra time to go through to the next round of the Scottish cup.
Now who said Scottish football was boring ?

Billy Sharp plays just days after his newborn son dies

Billy Sharp is one hell of a person to be able to come out and play football just 3 days after his 2 your old son died.I can't imagine what he must be going through and my thoughts are with him and his wife Jade.
Doncaster Rovers lined up against Middlesborough for this match and before kick off  it was revealed that there will be a minutes applause in memory of Luey Sharp , before the minutes applause took place a message from Billy was read out of the loudspeaker :the message read:

'This is a minute's applause to celebrate the short life of Billy and Jade's son Luey Jacob Sharp.Born 27th October, taken by the angels on the 29th. Sleep tight son.'
